8 Myths About Career Success for the 20-Somethings

Money does not always make the world go round. Likewise, your academic achievement does not necessarily give you the immediate passport to your dream job.

When we speak of career advancement, most people in their 20s are at the stage of exploration. This could mean that they are either graduates who have just started their career, or simply navigating their options in order to carve out a wonderful career that they envision.

While reading through blog entries such as “7 Mistakes People Make in Their 30s“, “5 Career Mistakes You Will Regret in 10 Years“, and even “12 Biggest Myths About your 20s You Need to Unlearn Before You Can Grow“, I thought of sharing my own summary of some false beliefs that most people in their 20s have about career success.
